No landlines of communications were established and the distances were beyond the range of existing rotary-wing aircraft. To support this maneuver, either the CSS units would have to be equipped with FTRs or the combatant commander would have to allocate large numbers of C-130 sorties to sustain the Objective Force units. If C-130s were used, the Objective Force units would be tethered to landing fields. In either case, the combatant command would need to establish secure air corridors. Medical support would be of particular concern during such deep operations.

White Team The White Team included a Chief Mentor, Game Direction, Assessment (Assessment Team 1 and Assessment Team 2), and an Analysis Team. The Chief Mentor developed insights for the Game Director, based on observation of the Operational Insights Panels. Game Direction was responsible for overall conduct of the game. Assessment adjudicated outcomes of opposing plans and identified key insights. The Training and Doctrine Command’s Analysis Center led the Analysis Team with support from RAND.
